Obituary for Linda Jane Jones

Linda Jane Jones, 73, of Newport News, VA, passed away on Wednesday, September 6, 2023. She was born on September 26, 1949, in Winfield, Kansas, to the late Doloris (Golightley) and Vaits F Fulk Jr. 

Linda was a loving wife and mother, a doting grandmother. She is survived by her husband Walt, daughter Angela, sister Brenda, as well as her 7 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. 

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by daughter Lisa Ann, son Darrell, her sister Marilyn, and brother Vaits F Fulk, III. 

Linda spent 26 years of her career at Busch Gardens Williamsburg. Outside of work, Linda had a passion for sewing, quilting, and gardening. She especially enjoyed family gatherings. 

In accordance with her wishes, cremation has taken place. Burial and graveside services will be held at a later date in her hometown Winfield, Kansas. 

Linda Jane Jones will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. May she rest in peace.
