Darlene Karen (Day) Wilson, 67, of Arkansas City passed away Wednesday, January 3, 2018 at the Cancer Center in Winfield.
Cremation has taken place and there are no services scheduled at this time. Services are entrusted to Shelley Family Funeral Home of Winfield.
Darlene was born on November 20, 1950 in Dexter, Kansas to loving parents Jack and Margaret (Rausch) Day. She graduated from Dexter High School and attended college in California. She was united in marriage with Neil Wilson on September 25th. Darlene was a homemaker and enjoyed raising her three children, she also liked crafting and making furniture.
She is survived by her husband Neil of Arkansas City, daughters: Robyn Baumann and husband Mathew of Leonardtown, MD; Stephanie Dudley of Arkansas City; and Melany Mayer of East Vale, CA; as well as six grandchildren and siblings: Phoebe Santiago and Marty Day both of Arkansas City. She is preceded in death by her parents.
