Steven Cain

WICHITA - Steven L. Cain, 50, of Wichita, formerly of Winfield, diedFeb. 19, 2001, in Denton, Texas, while on a golfing trip.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Friday at Resthaven Mortuary, 11800 West U.S. 54.

A memorial has been established with the Alzheimer's Association.

Cain was bornin southern Californiaand moved to Winfield while in his teens. He attended Winfield High School where he met his wife, the former Peggy Goggans.

In 1974 he graduated from Wichita State University with a degree in accounting.

Cain started working at Twin Lakes National Bank 23 years ago and took over as president in 1990. He was interested in computers and was working on the bank's first Web site when he died.

Survivors include his wife, Peggy Cain, and two sons, Chris Cain and Curtis Cain, all of Wichita; his parents, Fred and Mary Seward, and two brothers, Mike Cain and Randy Seward, all of Eagle Rock, Mo.; two sisters, Lisa Liggett, Eureka Springs, Ark., and Dianna Seward, Cassville, Mo.; and one grandchild.
