Ann Erlynn (Lacy) Fry was caught up into the arms of Jesus on Saturday morning, April 17, 2010 with her family around her in her home. She was 59.

A Celebration Of Life will be held Saturday, April 24th at 1:00 pm at Calvary Chapel. Everyone is invited and dress will be casual for both events.

A public viewing is scheduled for Tuesday evening, April 20th from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at Rindt-Erdman Funeral Home.

Ann was born on October 10, 1950, to Francis E. and Charlene (King) Lacy, in Winfield, Kansas. She was raised in Winfield, graduating from Winfield High School in 1968. She attended Cowley College and Okmulgee College in Oklahoma.

She married Mark L. Fry on March 6, 1971 in Denver, Colorado where they made their home for the next three and a half years.

They moved back to Winfield in 1975 where they raised two wonderful daughters. Her husband is the pastor of Calvary Chapel of Arkansas City, so along with being a Mother, she was a pastor's wife for over 30 years.

Ann worked for several years as the manager of Bryant's Collectables and was also a sales representative for Silpada Jewelry.

Ann was diagnosed with ALS, Lou Gehrig's Disease, in June of 2008 at KU Medical Center in Kansas City, and faithfully battled the disease for almost two years. Even though she lost her voice and her ability to eat because of the disease, she still glorified God by her countenance and wonderful smile. She loved her church family and was blessed by their love and expressions of care for her.

Ann leaves behind a legacy, her husband Mark of the home; daughters Lisa and husband Robert Holland of Ark City; and Kara and husband Jeff Trujillo of Lebanon, Missouri. One sister, Karen and husband Butch Boatman of Dexter; three grandchildren, Tanner Holland, Alex Trujillo and Jenna Trujillo; several nephews, nieces and cousins, and countless of family of Christ who span the globe. She was proceeded in death by her parents.

Memorials have been established with the ALS Association of Kansas, and Calvary Chapel of Arkansas City. Donations may be made at the funeral home.

Online condolences can be made at www.rindt-erdman.com.

Several of us attended Ann's memorial service.  She had a wonderful family and friends who will miss her greatly.  We got the following message from Ann's husband, Mark.

"Bless you for your caring contact these last months. Please convey our thanks to all of her former classmates for their thoughtful cards and prayer. God bless you! Mark & family"
